General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the website KOBA HANDMADE.

KOBA HANDMADE reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Any changes will only apply to orders placed on or after the date of modification.

An order is considered final once your payment has been received.
If we do not receive payment within 7 days, your order will be cancelled, and the items will be made available again on the website.

For each order, you will receive an order confirmation with payment details by email, confirming that we have successfully received your order.
(If you have not received this email, please check your spam folder.)

It is possible that an item is ordered simultaneously by two customers. In that case, the first order received will take priority. The other customer will be informed accordingly.

Payment

All prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.
You can pay via Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, KBC Banking, Belfius, or Sofort.

For in-person pickup: cash (exact amount) or via Bancontact app.

For personalized products, we require a 30% deposit on the total sales price (excluding shipping costs).
In case of cancellation, this deposit will not be refunded.

Shipping

Once an order has been placed and paid for, we aim to ship it within three working days, with a maximum shipping time of seven working days.

We reserve the right to postpone the delivery date if the product is out of stock.
KOBA HANDMADE cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage during shipment.

Upon receipt, you have 48 hours to check your delivery for correctness and possible damage.
KOBA HANDMADE is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that may occur after delivery, for any reason, or for damage to other objects or persons resulting from improper use of the products.

Shipping rates (depending on weight and destination):

  • Belgium: €6

  • Germany, Netherlands: €7

  • France, Luxembourg, Austria: €11

  • Rest of Europe: on request

In the event of transport damage, KOBA HANDMADE will resend or refund your order after receiving proof of damage (clear photos).
KOBA HANDMADE is not responsible for lost parcels.

You can also pick up your order at the following address:

You will receive an email once your order is ready for pickup.
Please make an appointment before collecting your order.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Belgian law, you have the right as a consumer to exchange or return your order.
You can notify KOBA HANDMADE of your decision to cancel your purchase without penalty and without giving any reason within 7 calendar days from the day following the delivery of your order.

Custom-made baskets cannot be returned.
Once you have ordered and your order has been confirmed by us, the purchase agreement becomes binding.

All exchanges or returns must be notified in advance by email.
The return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
Insufficiently stamped or unannounced returns will not be refunded.
Items can only be returned if they are unused and properly packaged.

If all conditions are met, KOBA HANDMADE undertakes to refund the full purchase price of the returned item within 30 days.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to items picked up in Brasschaat, as the products can be viewed on-site.

Product Information

Handmade Products

All creations are handmade. Therefore, slight variations in finish or size may occur.

Products should not be washed in a washing machine but can be carefully hand washed.

We do our best to display product colors as accurately as possible.
However, colors may vary slightly from the photos due to screen settings.
If you are unsure about a color, feel free to contact us.

Liability and Compensation

Except for the liability expressly provided in these terms and conditions, the customer cannot claim any compensation from KOBA HANDMADE on any grounds — including (serious) contractual, pre-contractual, or extra-contractual faults.

The liability of KOBA HANDMADE is in all cases limited to the invoice amount, unless otherwise stated in these terms.

The customer is responsible for the careful use of all products.

Privacy

All personal data obtained by KOBA HANDMADE via email or through www.kobahandmade.be will be treated confidentially.
KOBA HANDMADE commits to processing the provided personal data in accordance with the Belgian Privacy Act of 8 December 1992.

You may access and modify your personal information at any time.
Your data will only be used to process your order and manage our relationship with you as a customer.

Customer data will not be shared with third parties.

All photos, designs, texts, and branding elements on this site are protected by copyright and may not be copied or used without prior permission.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
